About Us

North London Muslim Housing Association is the largest Muslim led housing association in the UK. NLMHA emerged in response to the needs of the Muslims for social housing, and has developed into a significant provider of housing to meet the needs of the wider community. 

NLMHA was founded in 1986 and was registered with the Housing Corporation in 1989. By the late 90's the organisation had established its roots in 3 boroughs, which had a substantial Muslim presence.  Over the years NLMHA has provided affordable homes accross four London boroughs and is now working with it's strategic partners to provide new homes in The London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
